Meet the team
Behind every happy dog is a team that truly cares. At Grace K9, we’re proud to bring together a group of dedicated trainers and caregivers who treat every dog like their own.
Tylar
-
Tylar is the heart (and hands) behind Grace K9. With over three years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, she’s developed an approach to training and care that’s personalized, practical, and rooted in real understanding.
Whether she’s running one-on-one lessons, offering behavioural support, or welcoming dogs into her home for boarding, Tylar’s goal is always the same: to make life better for both dogs and their humans. Grace K9 isn’t just her career; it’s her passion turned full-time purpose.
Founder, Lead Trainer
Alex
-
Animals have always held a special place in Alex's heart, especially dogs. Her passion for dog training began in 2022, when she made the bold decision to leave university and pursue her dream of working with dogs full-time. In April 2023, she graduated from Sheridan College with a Certificate in Animal Care, where she learned about animal anatomy, nutrition, grooming, proper handling procedures, and more.
In July 2023, Alex adopted her first dog, Vegas - an anxious and reactive rescued German Shepherd whom she has since transformed into her most loyal companion and driven sport dog. Alex has gained hands-on experience working in dog daycares, kennels, training facilities, and pet health food stores. She joined Grace K9 in July 2025, where she helps with our daycare programs and supports our board-and-train dogs.
Assistant Trainer
Vic
-
Vic is a lifelong dog lover with a home full of dogs - three, to be exact, ranging from small (Rhu) to medium (Nana) to large (Gus). Her passion for dogs goes far beyond companionship. Deeply involved in dog sports, Vic loves every opportunity to learn from skilled trainers and refine her handling techniques. There’s nothing more rewarding to her than building a strong, trustworthy bond with each of her dogs through training and lifestyle.
For years, Vic has dedicated her time to volunteering with various dog rescues - organizing fundraisers, walking shelter dogs, and advocating for fosters as they wait for their forever homes. Supporting rescue efforts and being part of the larger dog community has become a meaningful part of her daily life.
Vic has been with Grace K9 since September 2025, and helps out with our kennel operations.

Kaitlyn
-
Kaitlyn joined Grace K9 as Marketing Manager in July 2025. A lifelong dog lover, she officially stepped into the dog world when she brought home her first pup, Sully, in early 2025—and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Since then, Kaitlyn has immersed herself in all things training, nutrition, and wellness to give Sully the happiest, healthiest life possible. Her journey into the dog community led her to Ty while searching for a daycare program that was not only fun but also enriching and structured—and now, she’s part of the team making that vision grow.
With over five years of experience in advertising and marketing, Kaitlyn brings her creativity and strategy together to help share Grace K9’s mission and connect more owners with a community that truly understands dogs.
